Mallorca and Palma-Calvià Lead Regional Stats

Mallorca recorded over 3.4 million overnight stays. The Palma-Calvià area stood out with a 74% occupancy rate, while the Island of Mallorca posted a solid 73.2%. Both are among the highest-performing zones in the entire country.

Strong Revenue Growth

Hotels in the Balearics saw higher earnings too:

These gains show how rising occupancy is directly improving the financial health of the hospitality sector. The Balearic hotel occupancy performance is not just a number—it reflects a wider economic revival.

Context Across Spain

Nationally, April showed a 7.3% increase in overnight stays compared to 2024. Domestic stays rose 13%, while international bookings increased 4.5%. Though Easter fell in April this year (versus March last year), the numbers still indicate stable growth.
