Arriving at Cala Carbo evokes an instant feeling of being on vacation – whether you’re on holiday or merely on your lunch break! The small, secluded cove is surrounded by pine trees and feels as though it is a private beach – although one and all are always welcome. With retro palm leaf umbrellas, but sun loungers equipped with plush mattresses and sheets, Cala Carbo is the best of both worlds – rustic and chic!
Best time to go
The shape of the cove and the mountains behind it make Cala Carbo a little more protected from the elements than other nearby beaches – ideal at the beginning and end of the season when you’re looking to extend your beach day.
The instant ‘holiday’ feeling you get when you arrive at Cala Carbo, complete with the smell of fresh fish wafting through the air from the rustic beachside restaurants. Did someone say paella?
