This September, the Eivissa Daurada Concert In Dalt Vila transforms the ancient Baluard de Santa Llúcia into a radiant stage. On Friday 12 September at 20:30, the venue will glow with over a thousand candles, creating an intimate atmosphere that invites every visitor into a sensory musical journey.

Musical Line-Up and Repertoire

A quartet of gifted musicians—Llorenç Prats (piano), Miclen LaiPang (violin), Carlos Vesperinas (cello), and Joan Carles Marí (percussion)—will headline the event. They will be joined on one piece by vocalist Raquel Ortiz. The Eivissa Daurada Concert In Dalt Vila explores an eclectic mix, from timeless classics by Gershwin, Saint-Saëns, Schubert, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, and Piazzolla to contemporary works by Hania Rani and emotive boleros. Such variety ensures every musical taste finds something to cherish.

A Sensory Experience with Free Entry

Admission is free. Visitors do not need to make a reservation—just arrive early, as limited space fills quickly. The candlelit setting of Dalt Vila casts a memorable glow over both the historic walls and the audience. The candles and ambience heighten the listener’s experience, offering a complete sensory immersion beyond mere music.

A Continuing Cultural Series

This concert marks the second in the Eivissa Daurada Concert In Dalt Vila series. Its successful debut on 14 June in the Plaza de España paved the way. On 10 October, the Town Hall Cloister will host a third performance, with violinist Ramsés Puente, harpist Assumpció Janer, and cellist Carlos Vesperinas presenting a fresh artistic programme.

With this cycle, the Ayuntamiento de Ibiza and Eivissa Escènica reaffirm their dedication to local culture. They spotlight talented island artists in settings rich with heritage, bringing live music to new audiences in iconic spaces.
