Eric Prydz Holosphere 2.0 at UNVRS Ibiza: a revolutionary audiovisual experience
On 2nd June 2025, Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz launched his highly anticipated Holosphere 2.0 residency at Ibiza’s newest venue, UNVRS. This 14-week series, running every Monday until 1st September, promises to redefine the island’s nightlife with its cutting-edge technology and immersive visuals.
A Technological Marvel
Holosphere 2.0 is the culmination of over five years of development. It builds on Prydz’s earlier innovative shows, including HOLO and CELL. At the centre of the performance is a floating sphere, engineered with advanced holographics, transparent LED layers, and custom animations. The result is a multidimensional visual experience that blurs the line between physical stage and virtual reality.
Audiences are surrounded by a visual journey that feels more like a science-fiction movie than a DJ set. Every element of the production is synchronised, offering a narrative-driven experience that pushes the limits of what’s possible in electronic music events.
UNVRS: Ibiza’s New Hyperclub
UNVRS is located on the grounds of the former Privilege nightclub in San Rafael. The creators reimagined it as a massive “hyperclub”, blending futuristic design with world-class sound and light systems. The dance floor spans the size of a football pitch. Above it hangs a sculpture called the Tree of Life under a domed roof. Even the bathrooms feature immersive elements, with a built-in mini club called The Wild Comet.
The club’s weekly programme includes some of the biggest names in dance music. Residents include David Guetta, Elrow, Anyma, FISHER, Carl Cox, and Jamie Jones.
Holosphere Residency Details
Eric Prydz Holosphere 2.0 residency runs every Monday through 1st September. Supporting DJs include Rivo, J Ribbon, and Bender. Coco & Breezy will join the lineup in August. The show combines top-tier DJ sets with storytelling, art, and technology in one seamless performance.
