In a heartfelt return to the stage, renowned DJ Michael Bibi hosted a surprise set at Beachouse Ibiza, raising €56,021 for the local cancer charity APAAC (Asociación Pitiusa de Ayuda a Afectados de Cáncer). This intimate event marked a significant moment in Bibi’s journey, following his personal battle with CNS Lymphoma.

Michael Bibi’s connection to the cause is deeply personal. Diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of brain and spinal cancer, he underwent six months of intensive treatment. In December 2023, Bibi announced he was cancer-free, expressing gratitude to the medical staff and supporters who stood by him during his recovery .

The event at Beachouse Ibiza was more than just a musical performance; it was a celebration of life and community. Attendees gathered in an intimate beachside setting, contributing to a cause that resonated deeply with Bibi and the local community. The €56,021 raised will support APAAC’s mission to provide emotional, therapeutic, and practical care to cancer patients and their families across Ibiza and Formentera.

Additionally, his ‘One Life’ world tour, including a significant show at Ushuaïa Ibiza, serves as a platform to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and support services .

Reflecting on the event, Bibi shared, “Playing at Beachouse for the first time, with the sea just a few feet away and the energy of the crowd, reminded me why I fell in love with this scene in the first place—the community and connection.” His words underscore the power of music to unite people for a common cause.
