Come one, come all, to a land under the sea, where mystery awaits and great beats are on deck — Tomorrowland has revealed its dates and theme for 2018.
Every year, the magical three-day event centers its huge, storybook stage productions around a theme. In 2017, it was “Amicorum Spectaculum,” the carnival of friends. Now, in 2018, will be “The Story of Planaxis.” It’s sure to be nautical in nature, with a hint to cartography and sailing the seven seas. A planaxis is a genus of small sea snails, the ones with swirly shells, hence the Fibonacci sequence logo, which, with that staff sticking through it also resembles the bottom half of a Treble clef.
Things will get hotter under the water when Tomorrowland returns to its beautiful home in Boom, Belgium, for another two weekends in 2018. Mark your calendar for Fridays through Sundays, July 20 to 22, and July 27 to 29.
Pre-registration for tickets begin Tuesday, Jan. 9, while WorldWide Pre-Sale rolls out Jan. 27. Check the website for more details, and peep the official theme announcement via Facebook below.
