UNVRS Ibiza Cinematic Film: A Global Journey of Nightlife

As Ibiza gears up for the grand opening of [UNVRS], a cinematic film is capturing global attention. The film brings together culture, energy, and emotion through the lens of nightlife. It sets the tone for the much-awaited launch of Ibiza’s newest hyperclub on 30 May 2025.
A Story Told Across Continents
The UNVRS Ibiza Cinematic Film follows a glowing asteroid. But instead of causing chaos, it connects cities and cultures across the world. Viewers travel from Tokyo to Rio, New York to Bangkok. Each place brings its own sound, people, and spirit.
Filmed in just 35 days, the crew visited eight countries and 16 regions. They shot during real events like Carnival in Rio and full moon parties in Thailand. Everything was filmed on the ground, as it happened. The result feels real because it is.
Raw Moments and Real People
The film avoids scripts. It focuses on raw, authentic emotion. There are dancers in Rocinha, jungle raves in Asia, and street celebrations that burst with life. You’ll see cartel parties in Colombia and fireworks at sea. Each scene shares a piece of the world’s shared nightlife heartbeat.
Director Michael Lawrence led the creative vision. The project was produced by Dissidence Production with executive support from Charles Portier and Antoine Fritsch. Their goal was simple: to show that joy, movement, and music connect us all.
From Screen to Streets
The asteroid in the film didn’t stay on screen. [UNVRS] brought it to real life. Artists and creators recreated the asteroid in cities like Seville, New York, and Los Angeles. It was surreal, playful, and deeply symbolic.
These global appearances highlight what [UNVRS] stands for—creativity, connection, and cultural celebration.
What Comes Next
[UNVRS], designed by Yann Pissenem and The Night League, opens its doors on 30 May. With an immersive setup and L-Acoustics sound system, the venue offers more than music. It invites people into an emotional and sensory journey.
The UNVRS Ibiza Cinematic Film shows the power of stories that go beyond borders. It’s not just about a party. It’s about what nightlife means when it’s shared.
