A Dead Body was found in the waters of Cala Llonga, in Ibiza
On a serene Sunday in Cala Llonga Bay, part of the Santa Eulària municipality in Ibiza, a tragic event unfolded. Local authorities confirmed the discovery of a man’s dead body floating in the serene waters of the bay.
A nearby auxiliary boat made the grim discovery a few minutes shy of 10:00 AM. Swiftly, the crew on board retrieved the body from the water and transferred it to boathouses located on the beach’s periphery.
An on-duty lifeguard from a neighboring cove hotel rushed to the scene in an attempt to resuscitate the man, unfortunately without success. The beach lifeguards, beginning their shift at 10:00 AM, arrived promptly but also found no success in their revival efforts.
Support arrived shortly from various local agencies. Teams from SAMU 061, the Santa Eulària Local Police, and the Civil Guard rushed to the scene. Currently, they have initiated an investigation into the cause of death.
