Formentera celebrates its Intercultural Festival this Sunday.

Sant Josep’s Gastronomy and Formentera’s Cultural Fiesta

The last big day of Sant Josep’s festivities on Saturday is one of the highlights, featuring a pulpo (octopus) fried contest at noon and the concert of A Contracorriente, an El Canto del Loco tribute band, at the 2000s-themed party in the afternoon and evening.

On Sunday, Formentera’s Intercultural Fiesta takes center stage, featuring gastronomy and folklores from 21 countries and communities from 12:30 pm in es Pujols square.

Concerts and Theatre

Several concerts are scheduled as well, including the Hostal Pascual’s Dies Musicals (Musical Days) cycle on Thursday in Sant Antoni and Antic Balàfia Trio on Saturday in Sant Joan. Additionally, Club Nàutic Sant Antoni is starting the celebrations for its 50th anniversary with an institutional act, exhibition, concert, and traditional festivity.
